About

Oregano Athletics

Online coaching built by people who still spend time trackside.

The coach

Brice Le Borgne, entraîneur Oregano Athletics

Brice Le Borgne

Brice Le Borgne is a French national-level road running coach. He also holds a professional athletics qualification covering middle distance, race walking, trail and running, together with a professional sports educator licence.

He has coached running at Le Mans Athlétisme 72 since 2024 and middle-distance athletes since 2025.

He continues to train and race himself on the road, in cross-country and on the track.

02

Trackside

Remote planning is part of the job, but it cannot replace watching a session, seeing an athlete race or dealing with someone who is simply tired on a Tuesday evening.

Club coaching, competition and regular conversations with athletes keep the plan connected to what actually happens in training.

That is why we think in terms of coaching rather than selling standardised plans.

03

Why Oregano?

Oregano Athletics started with a simple idea: provide individual coaching without turning every runner into a product or every training decision into a branded method.

Women and masters are at the heart of the project. Not because they need less ambitious training, but because both are still too often treated as separate cases whenever performance is discussed.

Scientific research informs our work. It does not replace trackside experience, conversation with the athlete or observing how that athlete actually responds to training.

Irene

Irene Carrasco Ruiz, Oregano Athletics

Irene Carrasco Ruiz

Irene Carrasco Ruiz contributes to Oregano Athletics and brings experience as an athlete, from race walking to trail running.

She also contributes to strength and conditioning work. Brice is responsible for training planning and athlete follow-up.

05

Beyond individual coaching

Oregano Athletics can also work with clubs, associations, schools and sport-health organisations.

This can include remote planning, occasional on-site work, aerobic preparation or specific training interventions.
